Bogle & John Hype SET THE TREND. DING DONG and Chi Ching went all out with taking it to the next level Overmars, Sample Six, Black Blingas, Chekkazz, Stacia Fya, Mad Michelle, Mumzel & Mystic are among the multi-talenteed dancers who recorded songs that are playing at parties and on the radio.

Popular Dancer/Artiste Ding Dong hosted an extravagant birthday party for his Baby Mother/Wifey Keniesha on September 13, 2010 at the Village Cafe.

The Party was a success as many celebrities where present including Tony Matterhorn, Alaine, Beenie Man, Beres Hammond, Aidonia, Bounty Killer, Tornado, Sherlock Family, Mumsel, Fire Links, John Hype, Not Nice, Ras & Biggy, Chi Ching Ching, Boricia and Little Bibi, Chris Diamond, Bitta, Ravers Clavers, Stain Dem, Pick 3, Marsha Styles, Snoop Rock, Nickfotoworks, Fimiyaad, just to name a few.

Family and friends shared this special moment with one of dancehall's hottest couple.

Dancehall Fashion is all about being creative, outstanding and flamboyant. Lately the dancers especially are not afraid to experiment with different colour combinations, styles and accessories to compliment their outfit. Ling socks, scarves, shades, nap sack, goggles, chains, gloves you name it, they wear it. Straight Pants or some may call it pencil foot pants are now worn by males with confidence.

The dancers however have been receiving a bad rap because of this, they are being branded as homosexuals because of their dress code and style. Non-the-less we encourage freedom of expression and to each his own.

Oneil celebrated his 36th birthday with a party on Saturday May 10, only a few hours before he was gunned down and shot several times in the early morning Mon May10. After days of battling for his life, and the entire Entertainment Fraternity praying for his safe and speedy recovery, Oneil Edwards passed away at KPH hospital on May 26, 2010.

Gone but certainly not forgotton.

Bounty Killer a.k.a. Grung God a.k.a War Lord born Rodney Pryce, is known in the Dancehall as a hardcore, gangsta, bad boy artiste who is the leader of the Alliance Group in which both Gaza and Gully emerged from.

You must be wondering by now, how did Bounty Killer make the Wah Gwan section on a Dance website! and NO, we are not gonna talk about the hammer! Here goes...

Dancehall recording Artiste Charmaine "Macka Diamond" Munroe did the video shoot for her new single "Too Much Bull" on Sunday October 10, 2010 at Mumzel's Bar in Jungle, Kingston 5. The single features dancers such as Latesha, Mumzel, Mad Michelle and Mystic. Look out for the Official Video coming soon!!

Macka Diamond has always been the artiste that continuously encourage and support dancers. In her single Hulla Hoop she mentioned several dancers names, like Ding Dong, Sample Six, Bita, Mad Michelle, Latesha and Dahlia.

Members of the Ravers Clavers crew, out of Nanny Ville, Kingston, Jamaica all received their 2 years work permit visas for the United States of America. Their applications were submitted to the US Embassy courtesy of founding member and Leader Ding Dong thru VP Records.

Therefore all members of Ravers Clavers are now available for bookings in The U.S.A.

Members include: Jahno Bravo, Strength, Charley Barley, Unit, Pencil Man, Junielle, Chicken and Beer, Gio, Delly and others.

Personal Hygiene and dance floor etiquette is a matter that needs some improvement. Dancing/Partying is a close contact activity and Body Odor can be very offensive to party patrons and other dancers.

Here are some tips to to stay fresh and clean on the dance scene.

  1. Always shower properly before going out and use a deoderant/antiperspirant
  2. Be conscious of your hair odor! Men should wash braids or dreads often. Ladies if you wear hair extensions, change style as soon as it gets sweaty.
  3. Wear Clean Clothing
  4. If you sweat heavily, wear cotton t-shirt or marina under your shirt. You may think it will make you sweat more, but it actually absorbs perspirat...

Ravers tour with Sean Kingston

Kayan Merritt, member of the Kleva Ks Dance Group, the only female group to advance to the finals of Dancin Dynamites Competition in 2010 celebrated her 25th birthday on Saturday November 26th, 2010 at the Lime Light Club in HWT Kingston. She had a good turn out as her family, friends, co-workers from NHT, fellow dancers and Artistes such as Alaine, Ding Dong, Chi Ching Ching, G Whiz and Determine where there to support her on her special day.

Kayan plans for this to be an annual celebration and hope to get the continued support of everyone.
