Keemi Elite (2)

Born at the Jubilee Hospital in Kingston Jamaica, on the 6 January 1992. Keemi whose birth name is Akeeme Johnson was raised in the Kingston 2, Windward Road area and started dancing at age 8. After Akeeme graduated from Windward Road Primary and Junior High School, he then started Vauxhall High School in 2005. During his school days he developed his love for dancing and people recognized the true talent he had inside when he started going to school fetes and performances all over Jamaica. He graduated in the year 2010 and got his school certificate and then he left and went to evening classes pursuing his higher education at “School of Execellence”. Keemi has been an inspiration to his peers while dancing throughout the years.
He was the founder and leader of a dance group called “Starlight Dancerz” and from there he took his dancing career seriously. He was later discovered and recruited by members of the “Elite Team” in the late 2010. He became more popular as he work with the dance group until present and he is second in command from their dance group leader Andre Cosmic. His dance group Elite Team won the Award “New Group of The Year 2011” at Stone Love Awards. In 2012! “Up Town Mondays” Best Dancers for that year and they were nominated as Favorite Dance Group in 2010 and 2011 for DanceJa Awards. “A special big up to Dance Jamaica for guiding us on the right path” Keemi mentioned as he elaborates that he is currently a member of the Danceja Team.

Keemi is always smiling he believes that “After every storm the sun will smile”, “For every problem there is a solution” and the “Soul’s indefeasible duty is to be of good cheer”
